It seems that some artists are doing a "Sketchvember" thing that involves posting a sketch a day. While it seems to me that "Sketchtember" would've been a better choice both from a naming scheme aspect as well as so it wouldn't overlap NaNoWriMo (for people who want to do both and to reduce flooded Friends Lists), I'm going to see if I can do a little catch up since I'm late to the show.
To start us off, here's Sol Badguy from Guilty Gear:

Okay, I finally got around to playing the demo. It's pretty friggin' sweet! I was a bit iffy since I was unsure how much could really be upgraded in so short a time, but man this will be fun.

This weekend nothing is planned nor going on, just play games, eat, and sleep. A wonderful lazy weekend.
Received a document in the mail today to send back to Avalon Travel my permission to use the picture you see in this post of Uptown Charlotte. It will be in the new edition of "Moon North Carolina," release sometime late 2010. No commission, just the feel good vibes of sharing your work in a bigger medium where others will see it. Oh, remember Schmap (they did an online Baltimore guide that used one picture of mine)? They are now doing Altanta, Georgia and picked two pictures: Renaissance Waverly Hotel and Cobb Galleria Centre. I also gave them permission to use. So yea, pretty random being noticed for some of my pictures. Probably should thank flickr for that.
apparently I've graduated from dressing up cardboard vampires to fleshnblood coworkers. Normally I avoid talking about politics or religion except in the proper forums. Thing is, those are usually such deeply held beliefs that discussing them is pointless; only the fewest people will have their views changed by mere discussion. Right now, though, I know that a lot of people are rightfully outraged and genuinely hurt by what's going on with the DC (city, not federal) government right now. Ohhhh it's so nice to rest for a little while. These last two week has been so intense and by far one of the most hectic I've had in a while. Having three different projects overlapping each other makes for no rest and caffeine highs. But its all worth because I'm doing the creative things I love to do! So, how are all of you doing? I’m doing pretty damned swell. Busy, stressing plenty at work, but all in all I am swell. What are YOU up to lately? Talk to me people! What’s up? (I had to post SOMETHING that wasn’t photo or camera related!) This was originally posted to Say, What Chu Looking At?, you may comment here or there. I haven't been using the internet lately. Must drive self to use for right times… But so fun to play with… XD This was originally posted to Say, What Chu Looking At?, you may comment here or there. |
